Dr. Betita was raised in Madera, CA in the San Joaquin Valley. She attended the University of California, Irvine in 2003, where she received her B.S. in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. She received her Degree in Dentistry from UC San Francisco in 2007. 

She entered the US Air Force directly from dental school. While in the military, she was stationed in South Korea and Italy for a cumulative 5 years. While overseas, she enjoyed visiting several countries and learning about different cultures. 

She and her husband love to spend time with their two children and playful dog. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and attending bay area sports events.
